For the Editorial Class at Yonsei, a memoire on Robert Frost (now deceased) was made. This is an example of my skills in typography and the abilities to incorporate photographs interlaced into layout design.
Photos were edited by hand and fit in to the layout.
Use of Photos
Photos by Brassai, Henry Cartier, Mario Giacomeli, Paul Strand, Peter Caffrey were used in this layout.
In particular
- Brassai's works helped established the sense of remembrance
- Carier's works brought a detachment of life often portrayed in Frost's poem
- Strand's works involved close up shots of nature and were instrumental in explaining Robert Frost fixation on nature
- Caffrey's playful work with light created a dichotomy of hope and despair, a part emphasized by Robert Frost's poems.
