The illustration board drawing described time keeping as a collection of emotions and memories within an umbrella. Contained within the umbrella there is paranoia, anger, satisfaction, and ambition, with some higher in importance than others.

Outside the confines of the collection of core memories, there are the black abyss of stars in which the less important memories are stored with only glimpses of those repressed thoughts.
Process
As this mixed medium deals with some of my personal fears, plentitude of emotions, the breaking and acceptance of reality, and the loss of memory, I used several means to portray such.

Markers were used to create visuals that provide new colors to contrast with the black but not to stand out too much

Pen was used in a way of including details and focusing on certain aspects.

Marker Pen was essential for the black portions in providing a sense of space and endless thoughts.

Acrylic Paint was used in the portrayal of the star flow (yellow, orange, blue) to break tension between sections which remained black.
