The pen drawing / mixed medium is a piece that describes the intoxicating effects of looking back at who we were 10 years ago. For some, the past stays vividly in their minds. Personally its distorted and the ways of perceiving the past is a process that is better explained by colors, both gloom and happiness.

If placed in front of light, the picture becomes more clear based on the higher / lower exposure.
Process
Layer 1>
1. A picture of myself at 10 years of age was attached onto a piece of clear acrylic piece.
2.A hole 140 x 147 mm was cut out in the middle of a blackboard ​
3. The picture was glued behind the black board in a way light could seep though
4. Vinyl film was installed in the front of the blackboard

Layer 2>
Based on the Hasselblad 500C film model (relatively old German Camera), a pen drawing of the camera was drawn.

1. A hole 140 x 147 mm was cut out in the middle of the pen drawing
2. The work was glued onto another blackboard
3. The current blackboard was glued on top of layer 1
